I found something weird in his poop. I don't know what it is. I can't find anything that looks like this in the reptile parasites book that I have. There were at least 3 of these. One day ago he had that 2nd, two-week later dose of Droncit for the tapeworms. I dropped the poo sample off at...
I don't actually have any experience with Foleyella furcata or other nematodes, but I do have the book Understanding Reptile Parasites, which says that Panacur (fenbendazole) works better at eliminating nematodes and offers a better range of safety. It doesn't mention that type of nematode...
We had another vet visit. The vet is stumped. He got out that thick Reptile Medicine and Surgery book by Mader that I've been wanting and was going through the eye section ruling everything out.
His eye is no longer swollen, which is awesome, but is often held sunken in and closed. (The...
When my panther had blood drawn it was probably about 1 mL of blood from a vein in the base of the tail. He weights 120 g and was a little lethargic after that for a few hours. The vet had no trouble at all finding the vein or anything.
The medicine was Droncit for the tapeworms and Albon for the Coccidia. That wasn't exactly eye-related but I thought I would mention it because the problems occurred at the same time.
There is no change in the eye problems at this time. It's still swollen and he's still holding that eye...
Thanks for the reply. I hope it's nothing to worry about, but I'm still worried. The eye still looks about the same. At what point should I take him to the vet again?

I have had one bite experience. My male veiled was trying to eat a silkworm out of my hand and just missed. His tongue got stuck to my hand. I quickly moved my hand to his mouth and he sort of bit my hand to get his tongue unstuck. It left a <> -shaped bruise but no broken skin. The bruise...
Here are some photos of my veiled, Kermit. Her calm color was all green when she was a baby. When she was 7-8 months old her calm color developed some orange and blue marks. The 8.5 month old photo was taken about 2 weeks before she laid eggs for the first time. Her gut looks huge in it...
My female veiled laid unfertilized eggs 6 days ago. She hadn't pooped since then. This poop is very light brown and the urates are watery. She's been eating well since she laid the eggs. Everything else seems fine. Should I be concerned? If so, what should I do? Thanks.
There are a bunch of worms that all look similar: Mealworms, superworms, phoenix worms, etc. I'm not sure what kind that is. I've had random worms in my crickets before and I've had no problems with them. :D
Kermit - muppets - female veiled :D
Calcifer - fire demon from Howl's Moving Castle - male veiled
Ege - means Aegean Sea in Turkish - male ambanja panther ;)
