Basically i refuse to pay $100+ for a mister that i could do myself, the only drawback i found with the diy mister i had before was that it would go through alot of water...alot. so i figure the key was in the nozzle you would use. i searched for a fine mist nozzle and i found it at...
I have one and honestly I dont like it. They are so dark and sometimes the zippers get stuck. I wouldn't buy another one. I went and built one of those aluminum cages . Like the ones from lllreptile. And use the reptarium for when I take my cham outside
Yeah, well I, thought the only cfls that could cause eyes problems would be the uvb cfls, or at least, thats what I read here so I decided to give the household cfls a try . But after this I decided no cfls period .
So I have notice that whenever I use a cfl bulb my veiled cham starts squinting his eyes within a week . I started using a 6500k cfl for my plants and he started to close his eyes intermittently . So no more cfls for my cham. Does anybody has this problem?
Well if you, resist on buying new things which most dont lol but if you do its anywhere between $30-50 . IF you get the feeders online for cheap and your cham doesnt get sick .
Thats the problem with these type of nozzles.they clog up easily if not used with distilled water. Regular nozzles from lowes or homedepot tolerate tap water alot better, they are designed to
You are obviously not gonna run it as lomng as the fine mist pumps . If you are looking for that "dew " on the leaves run it for 10 sec. And you get it . And for a cage you dont need that much output (530 gph ) you need about a, third of that .
Javsto is absolutely right, none of those name brand misting systems are worth the money they ask for. You can do it yourself for a fraction of the price.
Both are equally good for your veiled, BUT which one is b
etter for you ? I would say the reptibreeze because those flexariums are so thick and dark its hard to see your cham. And the zipper s are just a pain.
I think youll be more than pleased with the results . I just dont see why you would waste $120 + on a misting system when you can make a better version of it for about $ 30
