ive finally made a start on the new diy enclosure.so in the original post you can see how it started out a 50 euro buy in a charity shop.today ive stripped the bottom glass panes on the sides to swap for screen.the top has come off also for screen.and the back was broken...

I would say height is the key factor.however that sounds to be cutting it a bit fine depth wise.it wouldn't give a full grown much room to manoeuvre 2x2x4 and you won't go wrong
I know what you mean.I've seen veileds with slight twists or bends in there casque but nothing as severe as freds.is love to know what caused it.when I first got fred I didn't know that casques like that could be related to mbd I just though of it as a unique feature like a hooked nose.does...
Not that I know of mat.he hasn't shown any signs of mbd at all.he has the twist in his casque since I got him.I've actually suspected a fall being the cause but health wise I like to think he's 100% since I've had him

Sorry if I come off Sharp but your going to have to set up a dripper for him to handle the watering.dehydration is a big issue with chams so getting near him to water is not an option because he's stressed so with the dripper he can be left alone to drink

Dark colouring can be a number of things.is his heat upto spec he may be staying dark to absorb heat.it could be just stress colouring from adjusting to a new surrounding or something in his cage or line of sight that he doesn't like.or he could just be about to shed.I would suggest filling out...
Don't worry the vamp locust is long gone I always clear out un eaten ones after about half an hour.I know crickets can be bites not sure bout locust but I pull them out to be safe
I've had mine out.it was a little painful but no worse than suffering with inflamed to.sold a couple of times ,a year.that was about ten years,ago now and I haven't had a sore throat since.
