for the most part, screen is def recommended, but it also depends on your area and wether it would allow for a viv :) do you live in a relatively colder and less humid area?
he looks pretty healthy. typically as they age they shed more in random spots rather than a full shed. maybe hes doing it when you arent looking? beautiful, nonetheless!

he loos great! i used to have veilds, but after they passed on a few years ago, i got out of the hobby until i could get a panther. im in love with him now!
im glad you finally got him! my first panther came 3 weeks ago, and he is getting brighter every day! i have an unhealthy obsession with taking pictures of him, though lol.
definately use a digital. i have an exo terra dual guage that works wonderfully, and was 16 bucks. Maybe wrap some shower curtian liner around a side or two? it will help keep the humidity up. and definately use live cham safe plants whenever possible! :)
i use warm water in my hand mister and my guy Cuprian doesnt seem to mind. when its cold, though, he does scurry away. as long as the humidity levels are fine and he is drinking from the leaves or if you have a dripper you should be fine. but chams def dont like cold water :)
