Don't use a waterfall! They are a bacteria warehouse.

Thanks for everyone trying to help me I just don't know what to do now and my chameleon is the best pet I've ever had and I want to get this right

His basking is at 90-95 and the side he sleeps on is 70-75 and the average temp is between 75-80 I use a digital thermometer it's just the humidity

definately use a digital. i have an exo terra dual guage that works wonderfully, and was 16 bucks. Maybe wrap some shower curtian liner around a side or two? it will help keep the humidity up. and definately use live cham safe plants whenever possible! :)

All my plants are Cham safe made sure of that so I should get a new gauge can you send a link or something so I know what to get

I would see what the new hygrometer tells you first and then correct if you have to. I have a feeling that your readings are off, not your humidity. Because you're already doing everything, So I bet it's the Guage.

I use hygrometers from Lowe's (acurite is the brand, I believe?) I have found them to be pretty good.

Also, you don't need humidity to be at a constant 80% all day long - it is totally ok and better if it fluctuates throughout the day. You do want it to spike during a misting but if it drops to 40-50% inbetween, that's ok. Too much constant wetness will cause more problems in the long-run.

Ok thanks a lot everyone has been very helpful I'm feeling better about this and I'm going tomorrow to get a new one thanks again
