hmm honestly my chameleon to me is like a delicate project, I enjoy tending to his needs in order to help him thrive, but I find a big lack of emotional connection between me and my cham.
I love him, and would do anything needed to make sure he is at optimal health.

The calcium food is almost like little pellets? The pet store just makes up little plastic containers of it. So there is a sprinkle of that, a sprinkle of zoo med natural cricket care, and the veggies.

the large size isn't really that big...start with a batch of the small, just don't get too many, I bet your cham will out grow them fast. My guy was eating large at 5 months.
Pine is cheap, but you need to seal it really well. Cedar is naturally water resistant, still need to seal it, but I bet it will out last the pine, and you won't need to douse it in as much sealer stuff, less "air out" time.
Cedar is more expensive, but worth it if you plan to have many years...
