is the tube located outside the viv? i would give long mistings to help soften seal over the eye, i tihnk i have had the same problem with a female panther this year. the actual hole in the turret was overed over with a milky look to it. i was very scared when i saw it but i just held her over...
m8 can you take pictures of the frozen building by lake erie, saw 1 pic in my local newspaper the other day of it frozen and it amazed me, it looked like an ice castle. back to chameleons i collect my insects in the summe ofcourse from fields and meadows, butterflies, grasshoppers, houseflies...
mealworms have no nutrition???, i totally disagree as i gutload them with a variety of fruit, veg and my own gutload mixes, i actually think they are the best feeders to gutoad. as long as they are gutloaded they have as much nutriton as every other feeder
have you tried any flying insects or...
make sure his food is the right size for him, sounds like the food items may be too big to digest, also low basking temps will slow down digestion, so give them time to digest the meal by feeding early in the day,

do you have live plants in with her? they may be irritating her if they are plants that are not safe, i.e toxic
also does she have black or grey patches on her? which would mean a fungal skin infection and a trip to the vets. how many times a day does her viv get sprayed? does it dry out...
i keep water dragons and the male in the pic is very mature, you can tell this by looking at his head shape. it is more triangular when the males are mature, maybe 5 years old.

i think your story is astonishing, what a lucky cham. what would be the odds of that cham surviving from birds, cats etc, and actually finding food.
good luck with him

hi, i have an ankify panther that does the same, i was told they do this looking for nutrition, to be honest i dont believe this as all my feeders are gutloaded every day (twice some days) and they get calcium and vitamins when needed, my other chams dont do it, i have seen my veiled do it once...
id wait till they are minimum of 8 weeks, keep them in small enclosures so they can find food easily, i cup feed all of my chams, i also feed by hand and let a few feeders roam about
