    Blackberries or other fruits??

Some veileds will eat fruits and veggies, some wont. All you can do is try. I find thinly slicing fruits are more often eaten before whole fruits. I agree kinyongia.... Fake plants are for fake animals...

    What soil for my plants?

Coco, peat , sand and vermiculite combined make a nice soil. Most of the time I just do peat and verm. It works. 3 parts peat to about 1/2 - 1 part verm. Coco is a better substitute for peat though. Its eco-friendly and has more natural nutrients. Also, adding stones or hydoton to the bottom of...

    werner chameleon

You can not compare a Werners cham to a Panther. There requirements are much different and care is more difficult then a Panther. If you are new to chameleons start with a Veiled or Panther. Werners should be left to the experienced. Goodluck!

    Saw something incredible tonight

There are wild chams all over South and Central FL on both coasts. This year alone I have heard of 4-5 new species being collected here in FL. The reality is, if you live in an area in FL that could support a cham population, you may already have one near you and not even know it. So break out...

    Saw something incredible tonight

Yea, it was more then likely a Knight Anole (a.equestris). Most times I've been out hunting for chams at night here in FL, I see them and mistake one or many as a cham at first sight.

how do you make beach drift wood safe?

I've used boiling water to make beach drift wood safe. The first thing you want to do is soak the in clean fresh water for about a week. This will help eliminate salts, organisims, tanins and any other junk in the wood. When soaking, change the water everyday! I soak my wood in large tubs...

Guppies and canned foods are better then nothing. I'm not sure how often or how to even attempt feeding a cham guppies, but I bet theres a way. Maybe a shallow pan?
