when u say u keep his temp at 85-90F do u mean his basking spot or the whole terrarium. The basking spot should be around 85-90 and the rest of the cage can be from 70-80 if at all possible. Also my panther chameleon helps let me know when he wants a new setup by climbing the scream more and...
looks like she is about to shed :) also in my opinion i would rase her basking light of the metal top so if she trys to climb on it she doesnt burn her foot or feet
Could he be falling from the leaf cause his nails are a little short from probably climbing on side of cage and breaking them? Just wondering cause mine couldnt grip well till his nails grew back cause he decided he wanted to scratch his cage about 3months ago? just an observation though :)
I give my boy a bath every 2 weeks. I just fill the tub half belly high and i make the temp around 80 and he loves it. I also do showers but not as often.
i find mulberry farms to be the best for hornworms and silkworms they arrive in great condition and if there is less than what u bought in the container then they will ship you another one free of charge :)
He might just need a temp raise if he is dark cause look at the difference from my cham wanting heat and not wanting heat
he is really dark cause he wanted sun in this photo
and in this photo is comfortable and doesnt want heat or cold
i would try home depot or lowes i get twine for my chicken cages there and they have good selection at mine its all under the big canopy outside where the plants are but in the back
well i personally like the 4x2x2 foot screen cage and just put a umbrella plant and some vines but idk if u want this or if u still want to go with the viv
