That is the link to the ones I bought (the large), I built a huge custom tank .
You can view the tank here...
Of course there is always the clings, they look great and work wonders but if you wanted instead you could mimic this by printing and laminating rain forest backgrounds. Fabric would technically work but it would have to be removed and washed often to avoid any mildew.
You will need to get a larger tank, how large is your chameleon? If it is small enough for your tank than you should be feeding small crickets and not medium, think of it as no longer than the width between it's eyes. As well, it is best that you go with a screen tank because you live in such a...
Then maybe go premium, it looks like the premium ones are specific by bloodline so they will look pretty like their parents and the others are just more normal and not from their followed bloodlines.
Personally I do not think there is much of a difference. When you go, try holding each one and pick the one that fits what you want best. Do you want a more friendly one, a prettier one, a shy one, and go from there rather than price.
Be careful because those hold water and can over water the plant. I have 5 cham tanks and with 2 I just put a bunch of live plants and it works wonders and in the other 3 I use huge umbrella plants that span their entire tank and then no substrate. Substrates are messy and hard to clean
If you're willing to ship I will pay shipping, it's a terrible situation to be in and I would love to help if I can. I have 5 of my own that I've had for a year now, so I have the experience and room. I also have extra tanks and supplies if you wanted to just ship him.
Chameleons will warm up to you gradually, or not. Some will be grumpy their whole lives but for the most part if you just do not mess with them when they are angry, keep their humidity and temps doing well and feed them right they should be just fine to handle every once in a while. For feeding...
I suggest Dubia Roaches personally, they are rather expensive but if you buy a few of them at first, you can get a colony going in almost no time at all and then all you have to do is feed.
I find that my chameleons do not like to hand feed if what they grab is out of my hand, at first. When you start, try putting small dubia roaches on your arm, they are slow moving but it is enough for the chameleons. Once they get used to feeding off your arm you can try it in the palm of your...
Do you have a front opening tank? I find that chameleons tend to be aggressive if they thing you are a threat, coming from the top. As well even if your tank is front opening try always coming from the bottom, I have scared many chameleons accidentally by coming straight forward or from above...
Where are you located? I live in Arizona and find screen or glass tanks to both work although they both have advantages and disadvantages. If you do not live in a super dry environment though, I would advise on getting a screen tank. If you buy older than 3-4 months you should not have any...
