Hello all. Just now as I was feeding my chameleon Axel, I noticed small balls of skin on him. I've attached images. I was handling him when I noticed. Is it an infection?

Update: Axel ate! He had 5-6 mealworms for breakfast! I'm so glad! I'll take him to the vet for a check up soon. Will post updates. Thank you all for your help/advice/suggestions.

Just a heads up: the breeder just contacted me and informed me that, fortunately, he has crickets. However, he needs time so that he has a colony/farm and have enough crickets to sell.

There aren't any bugs or bug-catching areas where I live. There's the occasional house fly, mosquito, and near the beach area there are black night crickets that make noise, but they're scarce.
