Your chameleon looks fine from what I can see in the pic. But if your still concerned about its eating...try documenting the times u offer food.
If they are irregular, that might the problem.
Try offering food consistently at multiple times during the day.
Honestly, its best to never handle chameleons at all-- they will be most active when they think no one is there.
I probably wont handle my guy all summer actually...
If I left the door to his cage open and left, he would come out on his own.. and run away!!
After reading this thread, I think ill start a regiment of reptaid for my guy today to start the summer off.
Ill use the syringe to inject the reptaid into a superworm, then feed immediately after. My guy doesnt refuse super worms :)
It sometimes takes a few days for the chameleon to eat regularly.
If you want to leave crickets in while at work, try a cup to hold crickets so they dont run away or hide. This way you can know for sure what he eats.
Also, im not sure about your particular species of chameleon, but I kno...
To introduce the fruits and veggies I put them on my chams daily walking path. This way he's bound to run into it at some point.
I think he just notices the red easier, but they definitely are aware of anything different in the cages.
If I put a pinky in his cage, he wont even go on...
Heres a cool vid I found on youtube that shows the proper way to water a chameleon. Notice how they focus on spraying the plants, not the chameleon, but the chameleon too is ok.

Ive moved my guy in-n-out every day for more than 2 weeks before during winter. He will be fine...Since its too cold sometimes, I find that he will purposely fall asleep on certain sides of the cage so I can come get him. They get stressed, but it is definitely ok.
These things are way more...
I used a black screen, stronger than just normal window screen, but obviously not as strong as wire.
What I found though is that it all really depends on the placement of your cage.
If your cage is in direct light all day, you may find there to be too much light. (Where black screen may...
He looks fine....reptiles have great reflexes and he will either manage to get it down, or will give up and throw it up-or re-arrange and re-chew.
That being said, try to feed smaller feeders as this size is too big...
Usually hes only attracted to moving food. But whenever I put in bright foods, hes all over them... haha Its gota be something to do with the colors. Anyways...off to feed him some morning crix.
