Don't leave the food in at night, he should only be eating in the day, they need heat to digest their food.
EDIT: camimon beat me to it but we're basically saying the same thing :)
Most of my friends have subscribed to this. Is anyone here a member and is it worth signing up for? I know in the UK its only £6 a month and you also get 1 month free and can cancel at any time.
I have one of each and they very similar in care but panthers as the poster stated above or less forgiving than veileds are regarding humidity and heat. Veileds come from a dryer climate and require less humidity levels.
My experience, panthers tolerate humans more than veileds do, I don't...
My panther is in a 5 foot, by 2 foot by 2 foot cage and personally I wouldn't go any bigger than that because for me I see no need for it, my panther doesn't tend to move much unless I'm watering or offering food. Only time I'd make a gigantic cage was if I was keep a parsons or melleri...
Watching random cham videos and this is what I came across, feel really bad for this cham and the awful set up. It has some kind of dirt at the bottom, hardly no plants and looks like no lights but what I can see :(

The one that you can use for chams has a lepoard gecko on the front. Its easier and saves you using 3 different suppliments.
Anyway it looks like this:
@ the OP, I highly doubt it'll get below 50F indoors in the UK, but IF and I mean IF it does get below 50F, you can purchase heat ammiters that don't produce light.
Well I've had my new baby veiled for about 2 weeks now, he's been lovely as ever, didn't try to bite or hiss at me and thought I may have hit the jackpot and got a friendly veiled LOL. Well I spoke to soon, his lights came on at 10AM and went to give him his first mist of the day at 11AM and...
I use zoo med repti carpet, not the moss kind, just a plain flat carpet, each Cham has two peices so when one becomes wet and needs changing, the other one dries, I just alternate back and forth, works fine for me.
I think it depends as to whether our chams are CB or WC. I think WC ones may see it that way because I do believe every animal has their own thoughts just a human does. I've said this many times I don't like people keeping WC chams and they moan and groan and wonder why they die, they are wild...
Sometimes a slight increase in heat can make a huge difference even if just by one degree which I know from my panther, I kept it on 84F and wouldn't eat, increased it up to 85F and he ate so sometimes if the temp is slightly out, it has a huge impact on their appetite.
Could you post some info and pics of your set up as well please. :)
How hot is tha basking temp? Is your UVB up to date and as it been changed after 6 months?
You shouldn't be using D3 everyday, you should use calcium without D3 everyday feeding, calcium with D3 twice a month and...
