Murphy just turned two years I believe. I bought him the beginning of August from Thom on the forum. He did an amazing job with Murphy - I've never seen such a gorgeous Melleri. Chuck G had the clutch that Murphy came from. I would love to get another one from him one of these days. His chams...
I've bought several of those very plants from Lowe's the past couple of years - they are fine with my FR chams. I've had some tags on a couple of them and they are a Schefflera - a few being the Gold Capella Schefflera. They are awesome.
Thanks everyone...
Thanks everyone for the nice comments about my sweet Murphy! :o) He's an amazing chameleon and I love him dearly.
Lisa, he weighed 437 grams in August when I took him in for his checkup. That is pretty big, considering my last male Melleri weighed about 145 grams or...
Sending hugs

I'm so sorry to hear about Padre, Jann. I feel the exact same way as you described...about five times a day!! These critters are a lot of work. What causes the hole, do you know? (sorry if I missed it in an earlier posting)
Yep - mine also
I had a young chameleon do this at the vet's office when it was getting a dose of Panacur. The vet told me that reptiles do this behavior as a way to ward of predators (we look like one to them and/or the meds feel like they are being compromised).
I would still ask your...
Thank you Angie. Camille was gorgeous and very sassy. She hissed and tried to bite me all the time! She never did get friendly, even though I raised her from a baby. She died after becoming egg-bound. It was very sad. I'm sticking to Melleri now so that I don't have to deal with eggs.
You guys were right - it was a not very digested hornworm. Murphy's temps were on the low side temporarily, as I had to keep him in my kitchen until my sweet Oscar passed on - now Murphy lives in the free range Oscar was using. Murphy is warmer and much happier. The vet visit went well -...
My sweet Melleri, Oscar, had to be put to sleep on Saturday after a very long and tough recovery from 3rd degree burns a few months ago. He was a fighter when I brought him home at 3 weeks old and not even a gram in weight - the smallest in his clutch. I had my boy on my hip for the past year...
I want to take him in to see my herp vet anyway - he's got something going on with his mouth/tongue. Maybe just a cut from a spikey bug, but he gapes and yesterday had trouble shooting at crickets. I'll bring in my nasty fecal as well.
Thanks everyone for the feedback!! I'm gonna check out all...
My male Ambilobe gets super indignant if any red is worn by anyone in the house. He is super tame, so he will march up to you and climb you and stare you down if he sees red clothing. It's kinda comical. Before I just avoided wearing red I used to just take off my shirt and tend to him in my...
