Has anyone used Phoenix worms for feeders? Josh's frogs recently posted how they are good feeders and are high in calcium. Just curious what people think about them and if their chams liked them.
They don't need a constant humidity that high. As long as you keep it at 60 and above, they will be okay. 75 is like perfect. They may develop an upper respiratory infection you constantly have the humidity at 90. And then you need to let the cage dry out from time to time to also ensure no...
I also live in California and it's hard to maintain humidity for me as well. What you can do in the future when you buy a bigger cage is get a half glass half screen cage. But also you can buy a full screen cage and then buy a plastic shower curtain and cut it to fit around 2 or 3 of cages...
Hey guys I'm just wondering when a chameleons first shedding normally is? My guy is 2 weeks shy of 3 months old and I have a feeling I can expect his first shed pretty soon. My past chams seemed to lighten in color and appear ashy right before their shed. My little one hasn't given any signs...
Thinking of building a free range structure, and maybe incorporating it with a window. If anyone wants to share any cool ways they've made a free range place for their Cham or wants to post pictures I'd love to see them. Everyone always has great ideas
Does anyone know of a good site that sells cage stands? I don't want to build one.
Or is anyone using something that works just as good. I want something with storage underneath. I've thought about using bed side table but they aren't tall enough or wide enough.
Thanks
Wondering how it will be for my baby Panther (2.5 months) at night time when temperatures drop. I know for an adult it is normal for temperatures to drop. Our room gets to be around 60 at night, is that to cold for the little guy? Right now he is in a 60 quart tupperware bin until he's old...
Thanks for the response. They become that friendly just by transferring them from box to box once a day? They're the cutest little things!
His breeder was "chameleon paradise" out of California. My main question is what age is it okay to start taking him out just to hold him, so he'll get use...
I've had 2 chameleons in the past. 1 Panther and 1 veiled. The Panther was already 2 years old and very friendly when we purchased. My veiled was 7 months. Both were able to be handled right away and put into their big boy cages. So I've never had a baby baby before. My new Panther Sully is 2.5...
