It may help him drink if he has real, live plants that can collect large drops of water for him to drink. Also, if you are dripping water in his mouth be sure it goes to the very back because their windpipe is closer to the front of the mouth and you want to be very careful that he doesn't...
A 2-bulb T5 HO 6500k fixture will work well for plants. Just a single UVB bulb will not work well unless you have plants that can survive in extremely low light. Either fixture will be fine for your chameleon.
If you don't have a fixture yet, check out the following site...
You will want to give him plain calcium twice a week, multivitamin once a month, and calcium with D3 once a month.
I would also add more horizontal and vertical vines. If you want something easy you can use dowels from a hardware store, if you want something more natural you can use sticks...
Welcome to the forums! There are a lot of knowledgeable people here so you should be able to get all the help you need. Having the humidity go down between mistings is fine and normal. Things should dry out between mistings to prevent mold. I would only be worried if it gets super low like...
Is that the cage with part glass and part screen top? If so is the UVB on the screen or only the glass?
Are you free ranging his food or cup feeding him?
Then it is not perlite, just looks a lot like it :) They definitely don't look like any kind of eggs I've seen, if that is what they are then it seems like something is wrong since they are irregularly shaped. They should also all be together when laid.
What color is the liquid in them...
I would recommend one long run in the morning (5 minutes or greater) and then shorter runs ever two or three hours (30 seconds to 2 minutes). Exact times vary on your specific setup, but you should ensure things dry out between mistings. It is usually best to stop misting a few hours before...
Some chameleons will drink from bowls if they are available. So if you have them you should ensure they are cleaned daily since the water can build up bacteria.
I only use misters so I don't have bowls, but I have seen chameleons in pet stores drink from bowls even when there is a dripper...
Is it possible he fell at some point? It seems strange that he would be able to move everything but his legs. He still curls his tail? Does he even move his legs if you pick him up?
I'm not sure what effect spider venom would have but it seems strange that it would only effect his legs...
It is definitely not normal for him to sleep on the bottom of the cage. Has he done anything else unusual? Does he seem weak at all or have any signs of a respiratory infection?
It's also possible he doesn't like something about his cage, do you have pictures of him and the cage?
Agreed, any of the site sponsors should be great:

Veileds and panthers have almost identical requirements, so you should not have any difficulty if you are familiar with veileds. I have both and have not had trouble with either by...
Have you seen him eating? To my knowledge supplements should be the same, calcium without d3 every day, calcium with d3 twice a month, and multivitamin twice a month. You should also gut load the feeders with fresh vegetables such as kale, collard greens, carrots, etc. If he is 3 weeks old...
You can minimize the water that escapes by putting the raindome directly in the center of the cage and make sure there are lots of leaves right under it to catch the water.
If you have a drainage tray underneath the cage that goes out a little beyond the cage this will probably catch most of...
Based on those specs it should be OK, although if you are using it for a veiled or panther you will want it close enough that he can at least get 35uw.
I haven't heard anything about the brand, so I don't know if it has been tested as safe. In the past bulbs have been manufactured that put out...
Sorry, I don't see the pictures, could you try attaching them again?
Honestly she probably stands a better chance with you than the pet store, it is the pet store's fault for buying them that young.
I live in Everett and I have used a vet in Bothell, but I am not sure I would recommend...
Sorry to revive an old thread, but I was wondering what happened to this guy. Did he continue to improve for you? Whatever the case, I am sure his life ended up a lot better because of your rescue :)
Welcome to the forums! I'm sorry your chameleon isn't doing well. You should be able to get lots of good advice here and hopefully she will improve.
3 weeks old is much too young to be sold, it is best they be sold at around 3 months. Although this is not your fault and can't be fixed now...
The most likely causes of this are either not enough light, too much moisture, or both. If it did not have a 6500k light source then it most likely was not getting enough light. If the soil is constantly soaking wet this could also be a problem.
Good drainage is crucial, do you have a layer...
