I used the brown silicone...

It doesn't matter if it is wet or dry. I just dumped it on the silicone.... let it dry... brushed of excess with a brush... and voila... A few pics of my Red Eye Tree frog viv build. Click on pics to enlarge

Saw some in Homedepot about two weeks ago down here in SoCal.

I was in their Escondido store a few week back. The ficus trees that they had in stock were all in great shape (full foliage, green leaves, etc.) The only issue was size. None of them where on the "tall" size. I did not really look or notice any of the other live plants that they carry.

I have one of his older systems misting my PDF viv. I have to agree with you regarding the investment. I'm planning on getting another system and using it to mist my latest "Chameleon Mansion" project.:)

Quick update. I was able to do an even trade. Swapped one of my power compact strips for this NO fluorescent strip. Not really an even trade for my PC strip probably cost twice as much as this one. Whatever. I still have another PC strip which just gathers dust in the garage.
