Yeah youtube has some pretty good ways I seen people breed them I almost thought about it but my friend said they might bite his bearded dragon from the inside after he eats the superworm so he told me not to do it. :(
Yeah I do what carlo5208 and tandra lee do have a huge tote box with egg crates a food and water dish(upside down jar cap) and use a toilet paper roll that I leave in there and shake them into my dusting cup. I put my dusting cup in the cricket box and shake the toilet paper roll till they fall...
Oh yeah I take dead ones out everyday and I put the gutloads on a wet paper towel in a jar lid. But don't really have it vented I just been taking the lid off every day for hours. I care for them almost as much as my Chameleons :)
but ill try to vent it with the screen I got extra from the cage...
So I just bought like 80 crickets and they smell! I really don't want it to stink up my room their in a big tote bin.
But I was wondering what I could do to make it not smell so much?
I was thinking a car air fresher or the arm & hammer thingy you stick in the refrigerator or like hook up an...
Hummmmm I think I'm gunna try to feed my Baby Veileds like that.
They always swarm the feeding cup even when I'm trying to dump the crickets in it's like I'm not even there lol
The dude at the reptile store gave me that 10.0 so I used it and asked people here they said it will be okay but it's a little too strong, make sure he has places to hide to get out of it when he needs too. Next fluorescent for sure will be that 5.0 for me.
When I was young I thought they could change any color in the world!!!! or be invisible!!!!!
Then got older did research and found out they didn't.
After I saw them shoot their tongue on a youtube video I was re-hooked and am now a proud owner of 2 veiled chameleons :D
Sweet the first thing my baby veiled did was drink then the next day he ate I dont think he was used to the feeding cup but he's just sits their waiting if i sleep in lol. =]
lol i edited my post and took that part out cause i saw alot of ppl feeding superworms to them. but yeah my friend said he breaks off the head then like hand feeds them to his bearded dragon
I've heard of beared dragons doing that to let off heat opening their mouth. I've seen mine do that too once every so often, get's it from their owners lol
