This is the closest thing you'll get to natural UV: Solacryl It's crazy expensive and kinda hard to come by. I've been thinking about a greenhouse setting since I live in southern California, but I always come by more obstacles when I start planning out the details. If the roofing is the ideal...
Thanks for the compliments everyone! Hopefully he'll mate with his girlfriend soon. She wasn't shy at all last time, I think he just needs to work on his pick-up lines:rolleyes:
From the Mistking system we have, I've seen that the misting nozzles are not adjustable, they are fused. You could try modifying the head to drip but they are pretty expensive to buy just so you can mod them.
That controller is pretty neat, but it seems like the probes only measure temperature. If they monitored humidity and could turn on a mister or humidifier in response to that and not only temperature..... It would be very cool
No biggie, after a few unanswered emails his colors started showing and I figured "Eh. He's blue enough." But thanks for finally getting back to me. Now I can tell people his lineage if I end up breeding him.
He was picked up at Tiki Tiki at the Reptile show in Pomona in January of this year. I have yet to find out the sire/hatch date as my email responses were never returned  If this were a female I would care more about those details, but his colors do a lot of the talkin' I figure...
Here are a few pictures of Marty. He was purchased from Davider. Camera doesn't really do him justice. Hopefully we can update this thread with better pictures later, but Marty really likes to hide out in his lavishly appointed suite most of the time
me too
Getting mine Friday too, im still upgrading my software on my 3G to the 3.0 for a test drive of sorts.... :D Glad they updated the storage capacity. If not for that and the video function I prolly woulda just stuck with my 16 GB 3G, but now I don't have to pick which songs are worthy...
USB Chameleon
Doesn't seem to be available from this site to the US market, but I prolly haven't looked hard enough. Someone might have posted this before but the search feature is pretty useless when searching for "USB chameleon"....
Same here! Boysergeant and me got our guy (Boysergeant's avatar) from David. He's crazy colorful. And super mild in temperament. Great great chams this guy offers!
So do you think the output would be significantly greater on a fixture made for those lamps? I've never seen a 38w fixture though, where would one even come by those? 10.0 is pretty strong though.... Are you gonna post some readings with the homemade reflector?
Oh. And nice nails Kev...
