    I would think the white would shield the eyes a bit from the glowing element in the bulb.....but that's just my 2 cents. I use the soft white bulbs.

    I find that it takes a while for my guys to start drinking sometimes so the shorter misting times are probably not a good option. I am also in Ontario and I use screen cages. One is custom and the other two are Reptibreeze. I have not had any issues with heat and humidity through the winter...

    I do use the same cup for silks or horns....they don't last long enough to escape:D A shallow plastic dixie cup could work the same if you are looking for something a little deeper.

    A plant with root rot will smell terrible. Especially when it's wet. The smell could be from the live plant(s).

    Thanks for your insight but I had a hard time getting them to jump into their new cages as they out grew their old ones. :rolleyes: Cage transfers or full cleanings are the only time I bother mine.
