    Tr. cristatus F2-eggs

On xmas-day i found these eggs (clutch of 11 eggs) burried 20cm (7-8 inch) below the surface by my 13 months old captive hatched (F1) female (she measures around 20cm): According to their shape and color i would guess they seem fertile. The father is also a CH (F1) specimen of...

    Chamaeleo vs Trioceros

My vote goes to Trioceros since more species get my interest (especially Tr. cristatus, deremensis and johnstoni) although ch. quilensis is the species i started with years ago and i definately would like to keep it again in the future.

    Kinyongia Tenue

No just Tom, me and micha (makes 3). I use a substrate of 30cm plant soil (pretty moist) and a toplayer of forest moss and they dig a hole of around 5-10cm deep beneath the moss and deposit the eggs (4-6eggs). I have made a movie clip of a digging female, though the quality isn't really good...

    Kinyongia Tenue

I have to correct you on thatone Benny, there are 3, the 2 you know which i know also and myself, hehe. They are indeed very rare and not easy to hatch. I've had only 3 juveniles hatching from 10 eggs (all others died during hatching and suffocated in the egg). I hope the tweaks i've made for...

    Furcifer campani

Thanks! I will look for some pictures of the juvenile when i just got it and make a small comparison with how it is now 3.5 months later. Taking care of them is not easy. They are a species that lives up in the hills in Madagascar (Ankaratra Mountains) at elevations of 2000-2500m. So you can...

    Furcifer campani

Yeah, They are not easy when it comes to drinking. The need a long rain shower (misting 10-15 minutes twice a day) before they actually start to drink significant amounts to keep themselves hydrated. Eating is no problem, they would eat themselves dead if you would let them :P I hope to get 1...

    Hatcheling Kinyongia tenuis

Yeah i've kept the following species together in 1 setup: 1.4 tenuis (adult), 2.1 sternfeldi (3-6 months old) and 1.4 tr. cristatus (3-5 months old) without any signs of aggression or stress. The tenuis gave me around 25 eggs in this setup (together with the other species). Currently though i...

Yeah, I have several of these setups ;) I keep 1.4 cristatus in such a setup also without a problem (animals are approximately 1 year old now and between 20-25cm)
