Water and bleach mixture, rinse, let dry then install. They don't need to be seasoned if that's what your asking. Some people bake the branches. I did not. My limbs were too big for the oven and I think baking the limbs is a bit overkill.
I know your intentions are good but petsmart will just get another chameleon and treat it the same terrible way. I hope she makes a full recovery and lives a great life with you. Good luck with the rehab
The purpose of the basking bulb is to provide a place for basking not to heat the cage. Can't see your whole set up but she needs some real plants in there so she has plenty of places to hide
I would add some live cut tree branches of a smaller diameter. Keep in mind the size of the chameleons feet. Being able to grip is an important dynamic in your enclosure.
I've only used live cut branches from trees in my yard. (I didn't bake the branches but I used a bleach hot water mix as Carlton mentioned). Baking the branches is a bit extreme. Mine were too big to fit in oven anyway.
To drill the hole for the reservoir I assume? Did they provide you with a bucket or do you need to get one? Automated misting systems are awesome. (Besides the monsoons)
Been using Repashy bug burger, superload and calcium plus LoD for over a year. Male Veiled 1.5 years old. I just started using circlet crack and my bugs seem to love it. (Which is not Repashy)
