Hi! I'm new to this and just got my first chameleon, a panther chameleon and he's been in my care for about a week and a half. I have done my research and believe he is healthy but I want to know for sure.
Chameleon Info:
  • Your Chameleon - Species: Panther, sex:male, age: 4 1/2 months, How long he has been in my care: a week and 1/2
  • Handling - never really, I handled him twice once for shipping and once for a picture
  • Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? Calcium dusted small crickets. What amount? 10-11. What is the schedule? Daily at around 3:00 or 5:00. How are you gut-loading your feeders? Apples, and repashy bug burger mostly.
  • Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule? Reptivite calcium with D3 twice a month and repashy calcium plus every feeding
  • Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? Spray bottle misting and a dripper. How often and how long to you mist? Around 3 times a day for 3 minutes each. Do you see your chameleon drinking? Yes, a few minutes after I spray he licks the foliage.
  • Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Normal poops and a relatively white irate. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites? Nope.
  • History - he was purchased from kammerflage
Cage Info:
  • Cage Type - Describe your cage: 24X24X18 screen cage
  • Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? Reptisun uvb bulb and 100w basking bulb. What is your daily lighting schedule? On at 7:00AM off at 8:00PM
  • Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? 90(highest) 72 (Lowest). overnight temp? 69-70 How do you measure these temps? Zoomed thermometer
  • Humidity - What are your humidity levels? 50-75. How are you creating and maintaining these levels? Daily misting. What do you use to measure humidity? Zoomed humid gauge.
  • Plants - Fake zoomed vines
  • Placement - Where is your cage located? A back room Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? Nope.
  • Location - Where are you geographically located? New York, New York

Seems like you got everything under control so far and done your homework. Only I can say is is start getting his larger terrarium ready soon. I would say within the next month you may want to move him. Also you might want to put him on a 12 hour day and night schedule. Like 8am to 8pm or 7am to 7pm. Other then that, great job and grats on the cool chameleon!
 
Try to feed in the first half of the day to allow for better digestion. I would also suggest some if not all plants.
