Hello,
So sorry to hear your cham Yoshi is sick. Let's try to help him feel better:)
First off, I really encourage you to fill out this form:

Weak legs and tail could be from many things. A fall, he broke something. Dehydration. Vitamin...
Your setup sounds great. And you have the same supplement schedule as I do(I use zoo med products). I was actually just reading on another recent thread, someone said the Flukers gut load is no good. I wouldn't know, I've never used a store bought gut load.
I believe you are going to have a...
Oh the poor lil guy, bless your heart for taking him in.
Neosporin will be fine for healing that up, it's a medicine that can be used internally. Use a dampened q tip, roll it with clean finger tips or against a paper towel(so the fuzzies don't transfer into the wound) to apply the ointment...
Hi there,
I wouldn't be too worried about how your cham is colouring up, they usually don't really start showing their colours till around 8 months of age and up.
Are you only feeding crickets, and what size? Are you gut loading them properly? You need to offer a varied diet...
I always liked reptiles as a kid, and of course dinosaurs. My favorite movie was Land Before Time(Petrie was my fav hehe). I was not allowed to have reptiles, only "normal" pets like cats, dogs, fish. Had a hamster when I was 4(my first pet) and that was about as exotic as it could get.
My...
A couple more of Big Red.
The 2nd pic is from the first day I brought him home in mid June of this year. He hasn't been this fire truck red since I got him(I think it was because he had coil uvb bulb, now has a tube uvb). Other pic was taken just a couple weeks ago.
Here are my boys:)
First pic is Big Red, I could only attach 3 pics for some reason...
The 2nd and 3rd pic are both Lil Blue the nosy be. He gets right fired up when I take pics of him, probably the blue cell phone case lol.
Go to mistking website. On the left side there is a "support" column, click on "instructions ." There is a video on how to take apart tubing and nozzles.
Sorry for your loss. I hope your male recovers.
Hello and welcome to the forums!
Giggidi is a fantastic name:) What type of chameleon is he?
I can't seem to locate the link on here on how to post pictures, but, when you "reply" there is a paperclip above, click on that and another window will open. There you can upload pictures from a...
Just a thought...From the pictures he doesn't look like he's ready to shed, but, Chameleons will puff up their eyes with air to stretch them to aid in shedding.
Or maybe he just needs a good sleep to get rid of those bags under the eyes, maybe a cucumber spa treatment...Just kidding, I...
Hello and welcome to the forum!
There are many things to think about when acquiring a new pet. Things like how much money do you want to invest on set up/continuing care and how much time do you have for care.
Most people start with a Veiled Chameleon or a Panther Chameleon. Both have...
Phew! Thanks Chase, that really does make me feel better! I'm so used to my panthers coming to the front of their cage when they see the mister bottle. I feel like such a noob with this guy lol.
I just need to relax. Chams know what to do. My biggest worry was his drinking, as you can see...
Here is the link on how to post pictures.

And here is a care sheet for Veiled Chameleons

This one is good to fill out too:)...
Thanks kplatvoet - I really like their scale patterns:)
Chase - thank you for the link, that helped out a lot! I'm going to change his basking bulb to one a bit bigger. My temp guns range from 80-83F, I think he needs to be a tad warmer.
After his first night he was still hanging on the...
The first pic is my terrarium I set up for him. The other 4 pics are his mugshots from the add. His name is Spike.
I will take new pics when he is all settled in:)
I am very excited! Last night I picked up a male furcifer verrucosus. Not very common in Canada.
He is 8 months old. The owner didn't know if he was CB or WC, but I know what store he came from so I can ask them. Being a baby when bought makes me think he is captive bred, or at least captive...
Hi Ethan, how old is your female veiled? Your description sounds like she is gravid. All female chameleons will lay eggs whether they have bred or not. Not eating as much, colour change and sticking to the bottom of the cage are sure signs of being gravid. Does she look like a bag full of jelly...
