Is it possible that she is getting ready to lay eggs? Female chams lay eggs without mating. She needs to have a laying bin set up. Search that on the forum for information on setting it up.
i recently purchase enclosures from Dragon Strand and you can get a drainage pan that they enclosure sits on. I have a single hole drilled in the PVC bottom that drains into the drainage pan and every other day I use the shop vac and suck up the water. Its working great!!!
Got both of my boys from Bruce at Chameleon Paradise in California. He is a site sponsor and offers great information with his healthy, beautiful chams.

I have boys from Jake & Cowboy
What is making you think that he needs an additional water source? If you look at his stool (poop) it is comprised of two parts the brown poop part and the urates (white part, this is pee). If the urates are white, he is getting enough water however you are giving it. I would make sure you...
Lemon juice will do nothing. If you are going to sanitize you need to use a 10% household bleach solution, however, for fake vines and fake plants with all of their nooks and crannies I would toss them and start fresh. I don't think its worth the risk...For an enclosure and more pricey items...
So I set up a large plant outside their enclosures. Marshawn came out and nicely sat on the vines...although he did spy Golden Tate on his way by and had to show off a bit.
Golden had to respond in kind...
I was so excited when I put the vine into Golden's enclosure (he is the one...
I think you should do some additional reading from the care resources about your chameleon, knowing whether or no he can get wet is a pretty basic thing.
Here is a link to the Care Resources, there is great information here. Also using the search function for your questions can give you...
Actually you really don't want to encourage your chams to climb on the screen you need to provide vines and branches for this. The screens have small holes and chams can pull nails out on them. I know you can't stop them but if you give them enough other pathways they will do it less often.
It is a splined screen.
Under the white bottom is a drainage pan that has supports so its holding my big plants without bowing..much...actually a little bowing is good, I am going to drill a drain hole or two in the middle of the white panel.
I received my enclosures yesterday and I want to give as unbiased a review as I can to date. I have had 4 different types of enclosures with these chams so I have some strong opinions. I will be comparing them to Reptibreeze, DIY and Reptarium and how they went together and the features...
it is 2 - 2 x 2 x 4 Dragon Strand Enclosures with the drainage pan bases added. There is a while vinyl shower curtain between them as as visual barrier.
The white things are my feeder cups, similar to the Sunny D type but made with a 16 oz coffee creamer bottle. A bit smaller but still does...
Got my Dragon Strand Enclosures. Had my little helper out while I was putting them together.
Just taking a little break.
Got them both fully set up today. Would love input on how they look. I don't know if they have too much foliage, or if that is even possible. There is a pothos...
Most people will say screen, but if you read some posts of some of our senior members they have great success with glass.
I know glass can be helpful in a very dry climate.
The limitations however, when you are thinking of housing a veiled, is size. I don't think you can get glass in...
