The best way not to have to touch them...I have had roaches for years as I feed them to my other lizards, I got a new shipment the other day and that's the worst part transfering them from the container they came in to my enclosure...roaches everywhere....sorry dodolah.
Anyway back to the...
LMAO....Can't understand why you would do that....no offence intended.
That's like that episode of Mr Bean when he bought a picture frame from the store and kept the display pic in it on his mantle piece....WHY?????:D
I'm still wondering.......
What a boat, but this is a cham forum!!!:D;)
I bought one made a base and decked it out how I wanted it...best of both worlds there!
Cheers
Scott.
PS looking forward to the thread Chris....;)
I agree with Will, I had an enclosure with a screen bottom, it stunk from debris and poop getting stuck as there is no perfect way to clean all the scuzz off it.
PVC or similar bottom is the go, just wipe it clean with discenfectant, no probs at all.
Cheers
Scott.
Hi Adam,
LLLReptiles will send a screen enclosure to the UK at a reasonable shipping cost, they are great to deal with. I had the same problem finding a viv where I live too, search my previous posts!
You can get wire flyscreen from any hardware store and it's not that expensive. I'm not sure...
So, I guess this leads to another question...
How long do you supplement your feeders by the way of dusting?
What age do you stop OR less frequent dusting of you feeders?
Cheers
Scott.
Jason/Chad...
Awesome idea, hope it all goes well for you guys!!!
I see benefits for both internal and external drainage systems, although in my experience I feel external slightly oversized to the enclosure base is a definate 100% water catcher, whereas with an internal fitting...
He's a Veiled dodolah... Geez and I thought we were friends here and remembered these little things!! :LOL :D;) Like what chams we all have!!!!:p Thanks Buddy!
Cheers
Scott.
Come on guys...
Some answers with positioning of misting nozzles and humidifier bowls please....after all, that was the info I was seeking!:)
Cheers
Scott
SuperRad your site is unreal, don't be disheartened dude, cop it on the chin and move on! (very clinical, but good advice).
Your doing a fantastic job educating the newbies and myself from all over the world.
On the topic, I rarely feed crix to any of my herps and if you read any of my past...
Sweet,
I'm a sparky by trade and have alot of other herps in the collection, so lighting is a part of the hobby I am very interested in, the right type of lighting etc. All of my enclosures are all on timers, dimmers, moon lighting, I have pretty well everything automated, I guess i'm...
Looking Good summoner12!
A tip though... with the flouro you are using, maybe drop down to Reptisun 5.0, BUT more importantly, try and construct a hood or reflector for the fitting as you are losing plenty of light out the sides, it needs to be directed downwards to where your chams...
I hope not dodolah... you can't really see with those pics, but there is only 2 x pot plants sitting on the base of the enclosure and the fake fern is mounted on a spike and is stuck into a hole drilled into the pvc bottom and therefore raised off the bottom.
I actually made a conscious effort...
A 10 :o NO, I have seen a few better ones than this on this site alone!
But thanks heaps for the compliment...keep em coming.LOL
Honestly, it took a bit over a day, including making the box, it was a long day because I had to use parts from popeye's old enclosure, so it had to be finished so...
Hey all,
Hope you guys had a Happy & safe Xmas and New Year!
Well as some of you may remember, I had to purchase a cham enclosure fromm LLLReptiles as we don't have them here in my Country....Well I was away over xmas and have just finished popeye's new enclosure, hooray!
I made a pine...
LMAO....
I thought the same... only been away for a week and the "new kids" hit the block running....LOL
Show us the proof, OR it didn't happen...LOL
Cheers
Scott.:D
I'll tell you an experience I had today...
I have just returned home from a xmas holiday of 7 days and took my forest dragons and my cham to be minded by my parents (other usual lizard sitter had prior engagements ), anyway, my dragons were in a smaller temporary enclosure so the...
