Thanks for all your responds! Personally quadricornis, pfefferi and montium are one of my favorites, quadricornis and pfefferi the most. I just love their character and the way they look, just like tiny dinosaurs!
Lucky I made a reservation, at the right people, that's the best way to get...
Thanks :D
I'm very happy with him, he's eating and drinking very well. Will post updates now and then, i'm curious how his horns will develope. I still have 6 eggs at Tom's place that will hatch soon, unfortunatly the couple died a while ago.
I wasn't there at the moment but according to...
We've had this in the Dutch newspaper as well and posted on our forum but the stupid %@#$^%$ put a picture of Chamaeleo chamaeleon on. Great you posted the picture that actually shows the specie it is about :D
The first thing i thought it would be a crossing with anolis carolinensis or...
Some pictures would help though..You can usually see a difference in tail length. I don't know about stumpfii but can there be a difference in shape or coloration?
Hello,
I'm looking for people that sell quadricornis, montium or other species in Hamm for a decent price. E-mail me please on:
[email protected]
interrested in what you sell with which price.
Looking at the tail I would say female, but i think that's clear now. At first sight it looked a bit like a St marie or fenerivo panther, they are mostly white with some red and/ or blue from what i've seen. I wouldn't know else, here's a link to male st Marie's and fenerivo...
Such a waste of a beautiful lady to leave her without a man ;)
You can see she has suffered a bit, paws aren't 100% looking well and her jaw isn't 100% either. Still she could make beautiful babies I guess. What color should she be?
Not really an edit to any of the other pictures but some photoshopping by me:
New specie; Brookesia armadillo:
Some other things, playing with colors:
Sinterklaas (Dutch celebration, didn't really make it that great only 10 minutes of work put in)
Christmas card:
the bean beetles Tom gives look slightly different but i'm not sure. The beetles feed on green beans or those black eyed white beans. Around here they are commonly used for frogs. They are pretty good food for babies though :D
I don't know exactly which one Tom uses, found different bean...
We bred phoenix worms using mostly garbage from fruit, potatoes and other stuff, they seem to breed really well, just make sure it doesn't get too slimy and wet, it can smell as well, we put a very large bucket in a seperate room.
Accroding to the scheme phoenix worms DO have the smallest amount of protein compared to all the other feeders, so I don't really know why you are defending your point on phoenix worms having high protein when they obviously don't have high protein. Phoenix worms are one of the best feeders to...
As you can't sleep you better think about how lucky you are to be able to have parsonii's and you should provide the amount of space those animals need. I don't know what you consider 'regular' but it sounds to me it's like the size of a veiled chameleon cage or something?
I know that's impossible, so in that case they should go to advanced keepers that do provide the amount of space they need. We should make the best of it for the animals that are already here, but try to prevent more to get imported or smuggled at the same time. As soon as someone buys the...
No I wish nobody would keep parsonii anymore! They are a beautiful specie, but also endangered and 99% of them is coming from illegal smuggling. It's easy to get false papers and all, but people should just not want to keep them... Not even with 10 years of experience and a huge greenhouse. Some...
This is not always true, I questioned the same to a good friend of mine which purchased a young quadricornis male, It had these black scratches which my WC quad had too, but this one really was CB. The scratches healed a few weeks later. If it's about Parsonii it's 90% if it's not 99% WC...
