My female Panther chameleon very bad condition

Ca and/or D3 deficiency is the usual suspect for rear leg issues. Especially, if she has had clutch(es) or lack of supplements or UVB.

    Is my Female Panther ready?

Try bringing the male to her cage. Hold him at the door on the hand. If she flares up, gapes or hisses, put male back in cage. Wait 3-5 days. Try again. Try different times of the day. I have the most success at 3pm (lights on @ 7am and off 7pm). Some do better after a heavy misting. The most...

    How do you gutload?

I use the same supplier of crickets for the last 30 years. Working for them in the past, has nothing to do with it. They just have a high success rate. I buy the 1/8-1/4" crickets and feed them Bug Burger, Cricket Crack, and other dry foods. For veggies, I use Organic Spring Salad Mix with a...

2 Nosy Faly X BB Ambilobe Holdbacks

Newer Pictures Here are a couple newer pictures of the Nosy Faly x BB Ambilobe female. For a female panther, she is extremely passive. The next pics are of a pure BB Ambilobe who is from a Donnie and Helena pairing. He hatched 7/21/15. He is getting ready to shed, so a little pale...

    Greenhouses

Yeah, I think Jeremy missed the joke. I will clarify it with him during our next PM discussion of movies. Don't feel bad, you should see the abuse I give Todd from LYR. He has a good sense of humor when picked on. I can give him props for that!

    Greenhouses

Make sure to clean those 'poop out windows'. Never seen anyone do fecal checks like that before. :D Greenhouses should be a prerequisite for keeping chameleons. In my opinion, the only true and humane way. In all fairness, I myself am forced to use cages due to living in a townhouse. Makes me...

    Wax worm

roaches are a good hand feeder, if you can stomach it. For some reason they seem to be the go to for hand feeding. Hornworms move around pretty good while hand feeding, also. For nutrition: it's in the variety of feeders and their gutloading.

    Shed in panthers eye

showers a good way of removing stubborn eye sheds. Be careful touching it. It is easy to hurt their eyes. He should 'pop' [a way of themselves cleaning their eyes] his eye and/or remove it with his foot, while showering. You don't want to leave on there.

    Wax worm

maybe 3 every 2 weeks depending on your cham's size. They are EXTREMELY fatty. Kinda like a human eating a tub of lard by mistake, instead of ice cream. Keep in mind how fatty even ice cream is. Try adding in a couple superworms, silkworms, hornworms, moths, butterflies, walking sticks, blue...

    Vitamins Panther chameleon.

Much heated debate as which is best. Many people are loyal to brands or which has worked in the past with no negative results. Repashy Ca, Rephashy Plus, Repashy Supervite, Miner All [I think is correct spelling], Exo-Terra Ca [w/out D3], Herpitive, Zoomed.... are all good products. It's kind of...

MistKing Ultimate for 2 reptibreeze enclosures

No Mistking, but please don't get me started on shipping fees. A) USPS is operating at a loss, so they claim. So, you get hyped fees. B) Suppliers include gas, supplies, time for packing and mailing, etc into the cost. C) answer that question and you answer the clues of the universe.

    Champ's diet

You can use an aquarium veggie clip. It's made for holding stuff like kale, greens, cucumbers, etc for pacu, plecostamus, and NaCl H2O fish.

    Help...fruit fly culture

Depends on the culture media used. There are many brands and homemade ones also. Should be a no though. Dog stomachs are usually pretty tough. Expect some loose stools for a day or two.
