I agree. The basking spot is too hot. Try to stay in the 80's possibly mid 80's but that's it. My basking spot for my 5 month old veiled chameleon is usually 78-83F.
WOWWW! Amazing setup. I love it! I would just add a couple vines and maybe a few more branches and some pathways so your chameleon could get to levels of the cage much easier.
