    Hairy Babies!

I bought the 25000 also so I have the same insanity going on at my house too. I feed the premix chow for the first 4 days and now I moved them onto the leaves. I spent the last 2 weeks driving around my office and I have managed to find about 15 trees from here to my house so each day I pick...

    Mistking placement question

Mistking nozzles put out a lot of spray so just one in the top left or right corner will hit just about everything you want, plus I try to not hit their basking spot so they know that's their escape place. If it was mounted on the side I would be afraid it would shoot to much outside of the...

Black Soldier Flys finally laid eggs!! Phoenix Worms are here

Lol yea they look almost identical to dirt dobbers or some people call them black wasp. They are really cool though because they have no mouth at this stage so they don't land on you and lick you like other flys. They simply have one goal and that is to mate and then die.

Black Soldier Flys finally laid eggs!! Phoenix Worms are here

When they are black that is the final stage before they pupate into the actual fly, at this stage they have the highest calcium content. Only problem is sometimes they don't move a lot at this stage and the chameleons ignore them. They control when they become a fly so it could take 2 days after...

    Little dripper question

It's a good idea to let the dripper hit quite a few leaves on the way down, Mine never drink right from the dripper they drink it where it builds up on the leaves. Also I use to run salt water tanks so I have a Reverse Osmosis filter system so I bottle up clean water from this system to run in...

    My FICUS OF CHOICE

Lowes and Home Depot both carry Ficus usually the twisted ones that have 3 bases twisted together but they don't seem to last in the stores very long. Ask someone at your local stores what day and time they get theirs in so you can go and check then. I've struck out many times at both places but...

Black Soldier Flys finally laid eggs!! Phoenix Worms are here

Lol yea they seem pretty nasty at first but it's not too bad, since it is all done outside and everything I feed them is basically what we use at gutload so the smell is not overwhelming. Unlike BB Flys where you have to use rotting liver, lol. I think the thing you have to get out of your mind...
