I just got in the "baby" silkworm cup from Mulberry yesterday and when I put a few in the feeder cup they all clumped together. Are they eating each other? How can I prevent this? Would putting some of the food from the cup be safe if my cham accidentally picks some up with her tongue?
Thanks!
My ~3 month female panther (just had her first shed today!) is driving me crazy by not taking to cup-feeding.
I have the cup just below her basking perch. I know she likes to hunt but I'm afraid her enclosure is too large for her to get enough, plus I don't want crickets to attack her at...

Be careful!
Don't know about the Repti-breeze, but I've read on the forums that fishing line is dangerous because a cham may shoot their tongues in the lines direction, not seeing it, and cut their tongue.
Simple Green
We use Simple Green to clean out the runs at my animal hospital, so I believe it would be safe for a cham's cage as well...I have been using it in my panther's cage. Just be sure to dilute it! It has a lovely smell too.
I'm a bit confused as to what the proper temps my 2 m.o. female panther's cage should be....I thought 80's was ok for the daytime but Vincent from Scremeleons just sent an email stating that it should be nearer to 75. If so, how much should the temp decrease in the night time? Thanks in advance!
And I would love to take pics! But I'm going to wait a while until I subject her to a photo shoot. She's only about the size of my thumb, thinking of naming her Thumbelina! If "she" is even a girl, too young to tell.......How can one sex these little guys anyways?
I've only had her for 2 days now and I work full time so I have not been able to feed the crickets with anything but romaine and orange bell peppers. After reading all the different advice about gut loading I am a bit overwhelmed with which course to take. Any simple recipes for a dry gut load...
Thanks
Yes, Clarkrw3, it is illegal in most states for a vet to dispense medication without ever seeing their patient in person. I guess I will wait another week or so to let her settle in first. Thanks all!
I was wondering if its too early to start feeding my 2 month old panther anything more than crickets? I've just purchased hatchling sized horn and butter worms online but now I'm not sure if this is safe for her. Thanks in advance!
Firstly I would like to say hello to all, this is my first time posting here on the forums.
I was wondering how many people actually bring there new cham babies in for vet check ups when they are otherwise healthy looking. I just acquired a 2 month old panther on Sunday from Screameleons.I...
