    Chameleon Sneezing?

My cham keeps making noises as if he's sort of sneezing, mainly after misting, but he's only started doing it recently and never before. Is he just clearing water from his nostrils that got in during misting or is it a sign of something worse? He's currently shedding so he's not eating as...

    Strange black mark

Sometimes when juice from a particularly juicy bug drips onto my cham it goes black. It's probably just bug innards.

    Dry Bamboo

I had bamboo in but it was too slippery for my cham to walk on properly and he fell off so he was just dangling by nothing but his tail, it was pretty funny. I wrapped it in string and vines so now he perches on it no trouble.

    Calcium over-kill?

Although I have seen him drink on numerous occasions, bacteria definitely sounds like something I don't want.

    Calcium over-kill?

He doesn't look particularly MBDish to me but I'm not an expert This is him a few weeks ago before his latest shed, not very pleased to be photographed: Here are some closeups of legs: Notice all the crusty shedding yet to fall off.

    Calcium over-kill?

I've got a thermometer at the level of the basking spot, it's currently reading somewhere in the mid 90s. 100w is the lowest they make. Could the high temp be causing shaking or other problems? He only really does it just when he's about to put his foot down on something. I've never attempted...

I need help asap please everyone

Couldn't you just patch up the holes? Failing that, I find that crickets can't escape a steep glass with a bowl shape, like a brandy glass or jam jar. Grasshoppers can though, but not regular crickets or mealworms. Glass seems to confuse my cham and he tries to eat through it and usually...

    Calcium over-kill?

Is it possible to over supply Calcium to your cham? I dust my grasshoppers (he won't eat crickets) for every feed with either straight calcium or Repton multivitamin (having 126000iu/kg of D3 as well as 220g/kg of calcium), and recently I bought some exa-terra liquid calcium supplement, which...

could anyone help me with an heat/lighting question?

Not so, the Power sun mercury vapour bulbs have an average useful output life of 10,000 hours, which is around 2.7 years of 10 hours a day use. The only problem I have with my one is that it keeps my tank a shade on the hot side, but being from Yemen my cham seems to be fine with that.
