Everyone seems to be going lately . I tried that feederfactory seems they are gone too? Canadian feeders has gone to simplydragons.com I was in contact with someone named Rachel. She seems helpful and nice.
These are the first carpet chameleons i've ever had ( i have plenty of panthers and a couple mt meru jacksons). I'm pretty excited as they are very hard to find around here and i have been looking for a long while. I purchased 6 of them they were sold to me as 3 couples ...they are fresh WC...
They are more intelligent then you think and yes they do form habit. I have this one little girl and she is so cute even though she pretends not too like me LOL...she runs over from wherever she happens to be in her cage to me to hopefully get a treat and kinda begs a little like a puppy lol
I have eggs incubating now and when i go to give the little fellows to their new families i will definitely be giving them a care booklet and buying guide for basic items needed (so hopefully will have the proper set up form the start).
Watching your first come into his colours definitely so exciting...i remember being excited at every shed!! Though not my first, every cham is so unique in it's own way that it can still be exciting with each and every one!
I am looking into picking up a male sambava panther. I have 2 to choose from. They are both from the same parents. One is 4 1/2 months the other one is 3 1/2 months. I think the older one is pretty impressive for his age, but, with the little smaller one i get to see him come into his colours...
I wait until my females are just over the 70gram mark (about 74 or so).
Introducing your male to your female like that may now cause her to lay an infertile clutch...Be prepared with a laying bin.
I had some early eggs back february laid after only 20 days all but 2 are still good. I just had some laid after only 15 days so still waiting to see on those ones. Here's hoping they are good. How are yours so far?
Gnats have spread through my plants in all my cages. I was reading about using cinnamon...Is this safe also for females who may potentially dig in the plant to lay eggs? They have laying bins but i have had one decide she would rather lay in the plant. :)
I purchased 2 (male and female) wc mt meru jacksons at the toronto show last weekend. I purchased from Harry at Chroma Chameleons. There was one male left when i left. I am not sure if he sold it yet or wether he would even be willing to ship it or if you even wan to pay shipping for...
