It's normal, if you check my other post in the vid you can see I normally give them a few test hole pre dug(to save them energy).
But may I ask what is the digging medium?
I use play sand with a small amount of standard soil( no ferts) with water
whats up Cham lovers!! Been gone awhile( stuck on jobs), had a bit of free time to spare for my little buddies and they give me a batch of k. Multi's from my pair of wc's I got my hands on a little under a year ago. Female looked pretty plump as they usually do, so I put her in the bucket with...
I've always used hatchrite for my batches. I find it very easy to use and rarely have to add water to it. I keep my eggs about 80 percent buried ( mainly so I can keep an eye on them ). I tend to think its three reasons they dig so deep.
Temps stay very consistent ( with lowering or raising due...

mstking all the way..(marty has a patented design) it has the finest mist, and a rain dome is just a plastic cup around a nozzel to cause build up drips..very simple to make and bolt to a mist king nozzle, plus my LLL REPTILE carry parts like nozzles, tubing, connetors..super easy.:D
has anyone thought of just cutting the bottom off of a smaller water just and connecting a mistking nozzle to the cap..pretty easy "rain dome" since thats all it is.. i made several, they all work the same..just make sure you have drainage.. mistking all the way!:D
sounds like it could be a bad collet adapter on the unit..good thing is marty at mistking is awesome and will happily fix any defective parts (very rare to have this issue, everything ive ever got from him was always 100 percent perfect, and same with all the other users of this unit as well...
my panther will violently swing his tail around for a place to grip when picked up (he very tame as well, so its not that he's mad, just like to use his tail alot i guess.)
make sure your tubing is cut clean and straight, they way it works is a small outer retainer tightens on the tube when pulled, you should have to push the ring in to pull the tubing off if done correctly..maybe re cut the end of your tubing. then try re-inserting it
