he looks good to me. Sometimes when mine is hungry he'll roam the bottom of his cage, looking for food I assume. Maybe you haven't been feeding him enough (his tail looks fat though) or, maybe, he wants more variety? just an idea.

haha that is pretty funny, glad she's okay. my male veiled doesn't like to be woken up either. The first time I heard him hiss and saw his colors was because I accidentally woke him up.

that was kind of sick at first there when the alligator and the lions had him. poor little guy. I think its awesome how the heard rescued him, but I bet he died later.... he probably got tore up pretty bad, and I would assume it would get infected. :(
