Just wondering if this is a reasonable idea, as sometimes I just don't have Amy fresh fruit or veggies in the house.

I have a dracaena marginata in my panther's cage. It's leaves have hints of red on the edges. Every safe plant list I've seen says it is safe.

Just thought I'd add my panther does the same thing. Mostly when I get too close, or a cricket crawls on him, but sometimes out of nowhere. Not very often though

Yeah I'm very glad I found him in time. I didn't sleep well last night, and was worried all day at work today. I think it's time for a cage with some tighter security. And I'm glad you like him :). If the Cham in your avatar is yours then WOW! incredible

Yoshi escaped yesterday and I finally found him hiding inside my old graduation gown. He was not a happy camper. He hissed when I opened it up and he flared up with some of the most beautiful colors I've ever seen on him.

Came home to find him in my closet. I guess closing the door to his cage can't hold him back. I let him spend the night for his effort :)

I wish he got sunlight. Unfortunately he is an Arctic Chameleon, and has to live with me in Juneau, Alaska. There might only be a couple days during the summer where I'd feel comfortable bringing him outside. He's an ambilobe panther btw.

I would call my chameleon a "free Ranger", but I do leave the door open to his enclosure. His setup is an old entertainment center with a divider in the middle. In the other side is just an empty enclosure with a few fake plants, no lights. Occasionally he will leave the side meant for him...
