I did run a black light to see if it could be a fungus and used a hand held microscope but I will have to resort to a professional on this. As far as a burn, I seriously doubt it because the lights are far enough (6inches). Thanks for the input. Will keep you guys posted.
This WC Ambilobe has started to show some very strange spots. Has anybody ever seen something similar? In 6 years with chams this is my first.
Again please if there are any vets that can help me in the necessary steps to follow for determining what took his life....I would extremely appreciate your time and advice
He just passed...if there are any vets in the forum that could assist me with advice to perform a necropsy...I need to know what happened because this was very sudden and not even my vet could figure out a diagnosis...
RIP Gamma

I don't think this is disturbing...and IT IS NATURE...i don't see the chameleon being force fed lizards...it just happens that a cage will be a much smaller place than a rainforest, I think that by observing animals behavior we learn, regardless if its a snake eating a panther chameleon(which...
Unfortunately these days I have been getting increasingly busy and will slowly thin out my chameleon family. Her name is Camille and she is 18 months old - 56.25% Nosy Be x 21.875% x Ambanja x 12.5% Ambilobe x 6.25% Sambava x 3.125% Maroantsetra....straight from the Kammers. Her sire is...
Rather than making this about OUR opinion let's focus on the chameleon at stake. Where in the bay area are you? Im in SF. I can suggest a very good vet here.
Falling in general doesn't mean entirely "weakness" specially when it is off a mesh screen...Now on the other hand if she is falling from relatively thing branches or sticks that could be a sign off problems.
Give her a a nice warm misting o preferably a shower. Not letting the water hit...
I agree with all above...I personally go crazy when I don't see poop...Immediate shower chamber and warm mistings, hornworms help hydrate the entire organism so it will facilitate a large poo and I also do Cod liver oil. Hope you see movement soon.
I would do the following:
1. Set up an appointment with a Vet...ASAP.
2. Shower chamber to try and get him hydrated.
3. Terramycin for the eye.
And make sure you leave the cage clean(bacteria and uneaten feeders)
Hope everything works out well.
*Imports for Panther Chameleons are still strong.*
