Question, my female laid a clutch of slugs. Now I would like to breed her. She is 16mo. In great health. She is recovering great eating drinking well. She is not been receptive to the male introduction. She is about 3 weeks post lay. How long before the possible second clutch and then how long...
It's all about knowledge with these reptiles lol.. I figured it was but like you said asking was my only way of knowing for sure. Thank you all for the insight I will give it a try in a few months after she lays these.

Well if she is going to have to lay eggs why make her lay infertile eggs if I have the ability to allow her to have a viable clutch? My research shows its healthier on the female to lay fertilized eggs rather than infertile eggs. So I see it as not why would I but why wouldn't I.
My female is showing her robin egg blues' but Ican also see eggs in he back side. Is it to lay for breeding to be receptive? She doesn't seem upset if he comes near but the male is a lil fella only about 5mo. She is about 16mo. She has a lay box just wondering if it would be in my best interest...
Question, is there a way as babies to tell if they will have good color? I can see some orange and blues coming in now. Just wondering of that's signs of what's to come.
Every morning about 2 hrs after lights on skittles grabs a drink and goes and patiently waits for his breakfast!! So funny 2 weeks and he got the hang of the routine!
