My Veiled has laid infertile eggs a total of 3 times now.
The first 2 times she laid about 60-65 eggs
The third time it was 42 eggs.
Is this normal? I am worried she didn't lay all of her eggs. She did burry the eggs in fully though so I assume she is done.
mine died after 3 weeks. Apparently touching the bulb can do that (oil from your fingers).
I brought mine back to the store and they gave me a new one without even looking at the receipt.
My female Veiled (who is 1 year old) just laid 65 infertile eggs on October 25. Now she seems to be showing symptoms of being infertile pregnant again, is this possible?
I did make a practice hole for her but she just might be ready based on what you said. She is pretty fat though but still healthy looking and very active.
What do you think she is being so stubborn for? Just because it is her first time or because the conditions are right?
This is my first Cham and she is obviously gravid (infertile eggs). I started seeing signs about 3 weeks ago. I am sure she is full on gravid now as she has strong colours and is walking around her cage a lot. I added a large bucket of sand about a week ago and I am concerned as she is showing...
This is my first Chameleon, female. I was told she was 3 months when I got her and now she is 5 months old and 12" long.
In the last week she has looked a bit fat and crawling down to the bottom of the cave snooping around more than before.
From what I understand she is looking for a place...
So why does all the packaging for these bulbs say to replace yearly and everyone on these boards say 6 months?
Wouldn't the manufacturer love to get everyone to change them in 6 months and say so on the box?
Keep him off the floor. They like to be at a level which is higher than anyone else in the room. The dog will also stress it to death. Be careful with the light fixture sitting on top of the screen like that as he can easily hang from the top screen and burn his feet.
85. I have seen other people report the same thing with butterworms looking much the same on the way out.
All the crickets she eats seems to be digested normally.
Yesterday I was at the pet store and the guy working there goes into detail how the hairs on butterworms can cause both allergic reaction on both people and chameleons. He also said they act as a laxative on the cham.
I never heard of this before nor have I ever seen hair on a butterworm...
