Ive always wondered this as well. May times just after bed time for my lil guy, i sneak in just to take a peek at what hes up too and make sure hes sleeping. And to my amazement he has made his way up to the top of his enclosure and is clinging completely upside down to the mesh. I just wanna...
His current dusting/supplement schedule is Rep Cal calcium very feeding ( eats everyday) Reptivit once a month, alternating with a calcium d3 once a month, and repashy vit A once a month. Had signs of MBD when we rescued him from the pet store and takes 2 drops of calcium carbonate once every...
Amazing replies! Thank you so much. Humidity in the tank ranges between 50 and 70 percent always dries between misting sessions. although he has his dripper going all day, as well as his rain system 5 times daily for 4-5 mins at a time he will not drink from them  but will readily...
Thank you for your replies, i have been monitoring his stool and water intake daily. This morning i did notice that urinate was slightly yellow and not white like it should be. Wouldn't he drink if he becomes dehydrated? He has tremendous opportunities all day to drink, and yet he does not...
thats a great way to look at it i suppose :D it seems he does trust me very much. i just want to be sure he gets everything he needs even if im not there to "administer" it for him. lol yes he loves his hornedworms. :)
My male veiled of 6 months only drinks from a syringe  I run a dripper for 6 hours of the day and have an automatic mister\ rain in his enclosure that runs 3 times for 10 mins each everyday... but will not drink ( i watch him all day) :o but when i offer water from a syringe he will...
Oh boy thats great to hear, scares me to be truthful! he seems great until it comes on, even if not a drop touches him... he freaks out, lol hes doing it right now as a matter a fact. scratching at the top of the cage, from green right to black, sinks his eyes in and fl-ales. trys to hang and...
My Veiled HATES his misting system! He turns completely black, runs to the back and top of his cage and tries to claw threw the screen. Is this normal? He seems very stressed when he does this? I think that he stresses me out even more to see him freaking out like he does when his mister comes...
Hey lovereps,
Unfortunately not the typical leaf walk :( almost tremors, shaky limbs). I almost think that my vet may have made a typo on the frequency of the medication (liquid Calcium). My vet said one drop of liquid calcium per week. But i think once or twice daily for one month may be more...
Thx for the fast reply!
He visited our vet 2 weeks ago, and i was given liquid calcium on a drop per week basis. Seems like a rather small dose? His grip is very very strong, eats everyday( well gutloaded crickets 10 -12 dusted with calcium no d3), but has tremors while he walks :(
Thanks, Hes a 5 month old veiled. Ya wasn't sure about the foliage on the top. It looks like there is more than there is. i strung one little vine across the top just so when it rains, it cascades of those leaves.
So Congos cage is almost finished! Today he got his new rainfall system. Please Let me know what you think! Here are some photos:
