For those that remember, or cham apparently had a cricket caught in his throat.

For drainage from my chams cage. I drilled a couple of small 1/8 ish hokle close together, hot glued some screen under the bottom of the cage to cover the holes. Taped a small funnel over the hole and attached a small piece of tubing (aquarium size) that runs to a collection jug.
I have my...
Ours is about 3.5 months old now and with instrucions form the vet we had to give ours meds and fluids with a syringe. We also just mashed up a few crickets and mixed with a little pedialite. Drew into the syringe and gave to himThat didnt go as well as just fluids. Luckily he got his appetite...
Just remember if you buy crickets in bulk... they grow.
Buy them smaller than you need right now and feed more of them cutting back
as they grow. As they get too big order small ones again and let the older ones breed and make more small ones.
A problem I am dealing with right now.... apparently feeding a to large cricket to the 3.5 month old cham. If you order 500 crix... get em small cause they grow and soon you will have crickets bigger than the cham can handle.
We are saving the larger ones to start breeding and ordering some...

He is so young the vet fears a tube would do more harm than good. The Cricket is only a diagnosis, he could not see it... but the mouth was black. He also said it could be trauma and infection from where the crick either bit him or scratched him on the way in. He didnt think I could have...
time will tell.... We have to force his mouth open to get fluids and meds in him. He finally bit my wife on the finger today whcih helped get some fluids in him.
After talking to the vet we mix the antibiotics with pedialite and give with a dropper. that went well. We also tried mashing up a...

Apparently its a stuck Crix or one that got a good shot in before he got crunched.
The vet opened his mouth and it was black,,,,trauma from either a cricket that got in a good bite or scratch before the munch and is apparently lodged in the throat. The good news is is thats...
