Yeah. I tried to PM the people who posted here but no one answered. I'm frustrated that no one knows a reason for this behavior. I have been searching and everyone seems to have a different idea. :(
Hello Everyone. Could someone please tell me if the treatments corrected the problem? My cham got dewormed and fecal test done 2 months ago with negative results, but he is showing exactly the same symptoms as yours had. Please let me know your experiences. Thank you.
has anyone tried jump start from zilla? I was reading that some people give it to their reptiles when they are not eating. Has anyone given this to a cham?
Thanks for the response. It used to have substrate, but I took it off. I have a size upgrade almost ready. It might sound a bit crazy, but I am gonna extend the cage going up. I have the idea, measures and suppliers required, but I still haven't decide if I am going to do the extension in glass...

That doesn't look like a problem a couple of showers will cure. Take him to a vet ASAP!!! He looks dehydrated, underweight and the lump in his face most likely is some kind of infection. Take a look at your husbandry. There is enough information in this forum to follow and...
This is my x-tall x-large glass cage from exo terra... I haven't have problems at all with it, but I do have a 120mm computer fan with speed control set at half speed blowing air out every 3 hours for 15 min in order to make sure there is good air flow. If you use a fan make sure it is not...
thanks carol. I agree with what you say. I just have to make sure the vitamin supplement i use also includes vit A (or beta carotene which is used to produce vit A by the metabolism) bc i have noticed that some supplements don't provide it. But gutloading is a must.
Everyone already gave you the options you have, but I just wanted to say that you need to make sure that your cham does not have a way to get too close to the bulb. Many times they climb around the mesh and will get directly under the bulb. That is one of the main ways how chams get burned bc...
Do not start a war guys lol joke. The truth is that a screen cage has a lot more air flow but it does not look nice to have in your living room. Also, it is hard to keep humidity/temperature levels, this is why people wrap them with plastic, which can look decent if you do it well, or look...
A vet specialized in Reptiles and exotics was the one who told me about the vitamin A, but if you have the link I would like to read it. Now you have me thinking about it :(. I will do some more research. All I know is that you have to make sure that you do not provide too much vitamin A to any...
Different breeders have different opinions but most of them agree in providing calcium without vitamin D3 four or five times a week, vitamin supplements twice a month and calcium with vitamin D3 twice a month. Make sure you also provide vitamin A. Many vitamin supplements do not provide vitamin...
They get yellowish and darkened at the ends with the time, but that does not mean you should wait until this happens to get a new one. They should be changed every six months unless it is a bulb with a longer life time (usually 8 or 12 months) but if that is the case, it will be stated in the...
