Woke up this morning to my adult male Chameleon, his tail still curled in sleeping position with feces hanging out and what looked to be some kind of fleshy stuff hanging out :( I googled and saw pictures of rectal prolapse and it looked just like what he was doing. I didn't get a picture...
No more hatchlings as of right now, one looks to have a star on the end of the egg but hasn't pipped or anything. They look good, white big and you can definitely see at least 10 that looks to have babies in them.
Our one little baby is doing great. Eating a lot and drinking, pretty active...
Thanks. We are all pretty bummed about it. I knew it was a possibility that some would die I just didn't know how disappointing it would be when it happened :( He looked healthy too, I don't know what went wrong.
hahaha...I can totally relate.
My first egg hatched last Sunday, it took him a good 24 hours to emerge fully. I so badly wanted to cut him out but I read that was a bad idea lol Patience :) Now I am waiting on the other 24 eggs to hatch and NOTHING is happening and it's all I can think about.:o
