I didn't mate her, it's just an infertile clutch. I've put her in her big bin and covered that up.

    Egg Issue

My veiled chameleon dug all day yesterday to lay her eggs, and then she turned around like she was laying them. This morning, everything was covered up and she was basking like normal. The issue is that there are no eggs to be found, and she is still very pregnant looking. We are preparing a...

Or should I keep her on her regular 12 hour schedule? Any advice helps since I've never done this before. Thanks!

    Stir Crazy Chameleon?

I have an approximately one year old female veiled chameleon. She is usually very calm, enjoys basking, etc, but today when I misted she went berserk. She keeps crawling up and down her cage very quickly, jumping from her branches to the bottom of the enclosure, and hasn't sat still for a...

    Ready to Lay Eggs?

My female veiled chameleon reached maturity a few months ago. She was showing the teal colors and is getting pretty big. I had been palpating for eggs probably once every other week (the only time she is handled), and tonight I felt two lumps on her stomach for the first time. She is also...

    Eggs or Receptive?

Do the turquoise and yellow colors mean that she has eggs or is she receptive to breeding? My veiled just started turning the colors this morning and I was wondering if she was ready to lay or not.

I just recently started giving vitamins though because I just read about them a week ago. The people at Petco were absolutely clueless on how to care for her.
