I'm on the prowl for ideas to build a custom enclosure. I'm looking to have something that looks more like a piece of furniture as opposed to just a frame and mesh (no offense to those who have that lol.) Post up whatever y'all have and help! lol.
I was actually fortunate to find a local source for hornworms and he stocks them regularly. Cricket prices are a little up there so I think i'm going to attempt breeding them.
I went to a reptile shop that wasn't to far from my house today and they had Hornworms, very small ones so I figured well, why not, so I grabbed a cup that had maybe 35 of them and grabbed two large ones. My cham is about a year and six months, I was curious if he'd eat the large ones so when I...
I'm going to check out that corrugated plastic, that's not a half bad idea. I'm just wanting to get him a much larger home that actually looks like a piece of furniture, I think he'd like that.
I'm currently on the hunt for a new home for my cham. I've got my mind set on a Armoir or a China cabinet, basically going to remove the glass/wooden fronts and convert them to mesh, obviously. I'm going to be running a mistking so this is where my question comes in, for those who have done...
I've seen several places to order from online but have no experience from any of them. I'm looking for some good places to order crickets and occasional hornworms for my buddy, some input would be awesome, thanks in advance!
I won't lie, pretty sure I saved this fella. The previous owner was using him as a breeder, Jameson had been rubbing his nose a lot and rubbed it raw, it's healing and that's a little shedding going on. He was in a cage with a female who had already been bred with and she was rather aggressive...
Since i'm converting a china cabinet into his new home, I figured get it all done at the same time. Not that I don't mind misting his cage several times a day, but I'm sure he'd be happier without a spray bottle entering his home, lol
I've also removed this vine that I picked up at the show as well, it says it is safe for the cham but i've noticed A LOT of shed on it and didn't want to take a chance. Could anyone shed some light on this vine if they're familiar with it?
Hey everyone, just wanted to drop in and say hi. Been a long time lurker, not new to chams but took a break for awhile. It's been around 10 or so years since I've last had a cham. After talking with my wife she said sure, go for it and so I decided to step back in. Picked up the Zoo Meds...
