Hey everyone, just wanted to drop in and say hi. Been a long time lurker, not new to chams but took a break for awhile. It's been around 10 or so years since I've last had a cham. After talking with my wife she said sure, go for it and so I decided to step back in. Picked up the Zoo Meds Chameleon set up at a reptile show this past weekend along with all the other goodies I'd need. At the same time, picked up this fella as well, he has been dubbed Jameson (like the Irish Whiskey.) This is merely a temporary home for him, I'm going to be converting a china cabinet into his new home since he is a little larger then a juvenile and could use the extra space. Needless to say, without further delay, here's Jameson.

I've also removed this vine that I picked up at the show as well, it says it is safe for the cham but i've noticed A LOT of shed on it and didn't want to take a chance. Could anyone shed some light on this vine if they're familiar with it?

This forum has already provided a wealth of ideas and information. I've also got a mistking starter kit inbound as well which i'm looking forward to!

awesome! I've really wanted a mistking for a while now. I've only heard good things about them :p

Since i'm converting a china cabinet into his new home, I figured get it all done at the same time. Not that I don't mind misting his cage several times a day, but I'm sure he'd be happier without a spray bottle entering his home, lol

nice. i'm pretty sure that both my cham and I don't like that spray bottle that I have

Just looking at your pic and enlarged it. Not sure if it's just the pic or the angle of the photo, but it looks to be a bump on the right side of the bridge if his nose. Veilds are prone to accesses in that area which often effect the sinuses and eye sockets. They usually have to lanced and drained by a vet. Hopefully I am wrong about what I think I am seeing.

I won't lie, pretty sure I saved this fella. The previous owner was using him as a breeder, Jameson had been rubbing his nose a lot and rubbed it raw, it's healing and that's a little shedding going on. He was in a cage with a female who had already been bred with and she was rather aggressive towards him and was trying to hide.
