hi guys for a few days my Cham can barely open his eyes and now he can't eat or see :( he seems to be mindlessly trying to climb on things. I also notice he keeps scratching his eyes on branches.
He has a 4ft by 2ft reptibreeze.
His heat light is 100w and I just got him a new uvb light yesterday...
Mine did the same thing and he's perfectly fine now. What I did was boil hot water and placed a tea spoon of Vicks or two and let it boil then I put my Cham on the plant and the pot under it and let him breathe in the steam. This cured it
I've been keeping him in the bathroom with hot showers so the room steams up and that seems to help a bit. For the actual shower, would it be okay to use water that's not decholorinsted? I'm just worried he can't eat anything because he can't see:(
im afraid my Cham has gotten sick I'm so upset. I don't know if I'll be able to afford a vet... his eyes won't open and he's aimlessly trying to reach things he can't see :( what can I do please help. He hasn't a 4 ft by 2ft repti breeze cage. 100 wat heat bulb and I just got a new uvb light...
I'll post some pics of what I'm talking about. I'm just worried because when I kept him in a smaller cage the heat lights defiantly burned the plants and I don't want that to happen again. It's very little because when I saw it was (what I thought was burning) I put the night heat light on to...
Oh man I can't remember the name of them now but if you look at my previous post you can see pictures of the plants. Also do you think 75 watts is too hot?? Previously I was using this 75 watt night bulb because it wasn't burning my plants but my Cham never seemed to bask in it so I switched...
Hi guys. So I have a repti glo heat light (75watt) and it seems to be burning my plant. I don't want my plants ruined and I'm scared I'm going to overheat my Cham. I have 4ft by 2ft screened reptibreeze cage.
Yes I know which is why I'm trying to figure out what I can use as climbing objects. He has a vine in there now. But I'm not sure how to get the sticks to stay without them falling. I heard tacs work. What did you use to secure your sticks?
Your Cham is new and scared. Mine was an asshole when I first got it, he just had to get used to you. Mine still occasionally hisses and puffs at me but I grab him anyways and I guess hes all bark no bite because he has never bitten me and seems genially happy when he's actually in my hand. Just...
Hey guys this is my first post!! I've had my Cham for a little over 2-3 months. I ADORE him. I just switched from a tiny glass terrain to a giant screened 4 ft by 2ft screened cage (reptibreeze) Cham seems a lot happier in his new cage but I notice he climbs on the screen ALOT and I don't want...
