    Size Importance

Thank you everyone for your replies, I am kind of short on money since I had to pay my mom back for something I bought. I am finding work to get money and will probably not get a chameleon until I know I can afford and care for everything.

    Strange spots!!

I don't know too much about Veileds, but that just looks like he is beginning to shed. It could also be a design on him.

    Strange humidity

I've seen people use towels instead of curtains. I would guess these could hold the humidity (and water) longer rather than just keeping it from leaving the cage for a short time. Just remember to replace the towel every once in a while to prevent mold.

I currently have a 18x18x36" reptibreeze for my veiled chameleon. I should one day get a 2'x2'x4' cage, but I wanted to know how important that is since I don't want to spend $100 on another cage.

Thanks, I know that they don't infest, but my family doesn't since they used to live in the south where roaches were a problem.

    Not Breeding Dubia

Would the roaches be able to survive at my house's room temperature (68-75°F, but mostly 72°F)?

    Dubia Roaches as feeders

I want to feed my veiled chameleon dubia roaches as a staple food source. If I did this how would my dusting schedule change (for crickets repticalcium w/o D3 every day and reptivite w D3 twice a month)? Also how many and what size should I feed each day? I haven't purchased one yet so it will...

    Not Breeding Dubia

When I get my chameleon, I want to feed it Dubia Roaches as the main source of food with worms or cricket every once in a while. To save money (since I'm an almost broke High School student) I want to buy my roaches in bulk. The problem is I don't want to breed them. If I did I would end up...

    ReptiBreeze Drainage System

Hi, I'm thinking of getting a chameleon soon, but I want to figure out how to install a drainage system on my ReptiBreeze. I have read around and found most people put their cage, tilted, in plastic storage containers. The thing no one ever says is how they keep the cage elevated and out of the...
