monty, my male veiled is roughly 6 months old - he has started to slow down on how much he eats in a day - is this normal at this age? danni x

ha ha - its way too cold for air con at the moment, wont need that untill at least july!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! humidity is resting at 40 at the moment, gonna add some more plants tomorrow (he's eating throught the ones i have), & see's if that will make a difference - if not, shower curtain it...

temp in the house is around 23, i would have no idea on humidity - the middle of his viv is 73.2, i have his basking light set at 88 - he's 4 months old, so dont really know if he can with stand a higher basking spot?????????????? just read the kitty blog & it says young adults can hae the...

he was in a glass viv, but the glass was freakinh him out. i may have to look into buying a wooden one :)

hi, how do you keep humidity up in a mesh viv? i have live plant, but the highest stable humidity is only 40% danni x

thanks for that - he is now in a flexi, in the same position, he's not pawing anymore, he is a little stress, but i put that down to the move to the new cadge - he's eating fine, so i am not overly worried.

Thanks - i thnk you are right - he seems a little stressed at the moment, but i think that is due to the move. I did cover the whole of the flexi last night, as i was a little worried about a drop in temp, but it dropped down to 70, so not as bad as i thought, i have a towel covering the back...

Hi all, not posted much latley - not really needed too, but today i have a question. my cham, monty, has just turned 4 months old, i had him in a glass viv (i'm in the uk) which he has been happy with, but yesterday & today he started scratching at the front, as soon as i opened the doors...

i've noticed today, that my cham keeps rubbing his back feet on his branches - like he's givng them a good scratch - any ides??????????????????

i bought a little dripper - its dripped for a while, then stopped!!!! tryed proping it up & it dripped agian for a bit, then stopped - i think it has a mind of its own?????????????? :confused:

my cham never use to eat crickets either, but now he loves them. maybe your cham needs bigger ones, or smaller one?

ha ha , i strangly like the smell of tabacco - i cant stand the smell of smoke & if people are smoking around me, then i feel sick - may be i'm just odd!!!! i'm sure monty will love them , he loves a good old wax worm, so he may think its them!!!! he's strting to get his yllow strips!!!!!

oh really, so i've been feeding all the wrong things! i'm just giving them apple now & i sometimes use grass from my garden, ii'll pop a grape in for them too x

these are now avalible in the uk, so have just placed an order for some. can thses be given daily? if so how many for a 11 week old veiled

whats the best food to feed my feeders with? at the moment, they have salad, spinage, brocoli, potatoe skin, carrot. is this fine or is there anything i need to change? or add?
