hi,
how do you keep humidity up in a mesh viv?
i have live plant, but the highest stable humidity is only 40%

I noticed your in england... most europeans dont use mesh for that very reason. You may want to try and cover one or two sides with plastic or something so the heat/moisture stays trapped in some.
Try putting plants around the outside of the cage, not just the inside. Something cheap like pothos or whatever.
You'd be surprised how much room humidity in general can be raised with some houseplants.
Whats the temperature and humidity in your house outside of his cage? This will give us all a better picture of where were starting from and how much we have to go..Also, I second the shower curtain idea...
Also keep in mind if you have an AC or heater running, that sucks the humidity out of the room really fast. A cheap humidifier might be in order here.
ha ha - its way too cold for air con at the moment, wont need that untill at least july!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
humidity is resting at 40 at the moment, gonna add some more plants tomorrow (he's eating throught the ones i have), & see's if that will make a difference - if not, shower curtain it is.
xx
